Again, the achievement's reference is unknown to me and I will not Google what it means.
No more nonsense, let's begin.
In order to be able to easily get this achievement, it is recommended to attempt getting it on Casual difficulty. It isn't complicated, you may even get it on a mega-brutal game.
Recommended Difficulty: Casual
Recommended Plague: Bacteria
Recommended Genes:
- ATP Boost - because I like it
- Aerocyte - because Saudi Arabia and planes.
- Trans-Stasis/Patho-Stasis - either one will work
- Genetic Mimic - because nothing else is better
- Extremophile - because bonus on every climate...and nothing is better. Well maybe the arid weather one.
TIP: Devolve everything that mutates. It's what I did. I don't think it's necessary, but just do it.
1.) Start your Plague in Saudi Arabia, then evolve the following in this order:
- Air 1 & 2
- Drug Resistance 1
- Bacterial Resilience 1, 2, & 3
- Drug Resistance 2
- Water 1 & 2
- Cold Resistance 1 & 2
- Extreme Bioaerosol
That's it. The pop-up might even appear before you even finish evolving all those. By pop-up, I mean this one, the achievement comes along with it:
After Extreme Bioaerosol, all you have to do is devolve anything that mutates and wait.
This is a pretty simple achievement to get. Or maybe I'm just too good. We will never know.
Thanks for reading, guys and I hope this mediocre guide has helped. Happy Spicy Gaming!
This achievement is refered to Portal 2 game, saw this on steam comunity site, and the easiest way to get this achievement is to use neurex warm with envolving trojan planes on max and trojan roamers on max and just send them to islands becouse people will use teleports to run from disease to islands.
ReplyDeleteOh.. The portal games. Never played those, explaining why I don't get the reference.
ReplyDeleteI found easier to just use Bacteria and let the plague do the work. I'm just too lazy to move drag trojan planes across the screen. Thanks for the tip, though!
Didn't work for me. Reason: the disease is quickly diagnosed by blood test before enough country are infected.
ReplyDeleteAfter for some web search, I found some clue.
Basic idea is that the country where people will rush using portal should already be infected (or that people using portal should be infected (not sure about that)).
So to success you need 2things:
1-Maximum amount of infected countries to maximize your chances
2-undetected disease for as long as possible
1) can be achieved either by neurax planes or by evolving quickly transmission tree (ie: air, water)
2) can be achieved by devolving any symptom. A good help for that is the parasite diseases.
To avoid as long as possible blood test, a trick can be to keep the infection rate low in every country. Blood test are only if a notable portion of the population is infected.
The achievement is from Portal 2 as a poster says, because in there we got an AI called GLaDOS hell bent on killing people.
ReplyDeleteI did this with Neurax Worm on Casual, by using Trojan Planes to infect the countries those people are going to teleport to.
Oh, and evolve the Constriction branch to lower your severity and remain undetected until all the required countries are fully infected to get the achievement.

ReplyDeleteThere is your refference.
Also, thank you for the guide! <3
Followed this exactly. Didn't get to the Extreme Bio-aerosol part when I got this achievement! Japan was my failed attempt.
ReplyDeletePlay CASUAL like it says...
ReplyDeleteI had followed only half of your tutorial and it happened to me (on the second try).
ReplyDeleteI think it is random.
Don't know if it's a bug, but I got detected too by some Saudi Arabian asshole doctor who magically diagnosed before getting Drug Resistance 2... And yeah, 0 symptoms and playing in Casual... Just WTF ?! How can my disease be less visible than 0 symptoms in casual ?... Yet detected... Game giving you the middle finger...
