Hey Guys who've been frequenting Yo! It's Spicy,

First of all, thank you all for the support you've been showing for my blog. I really appreciate it, especially those who constantly submit guides and comment on guides to help other people out(Yes, I check every single comment posted here).

If you've noticed, I haven't been really playing Plague Inc. for some time now, most of the recent posts are submitted guides from awesome people. Thing is, I've been very busy with real-life stuff. Although Plague Inc is still installed in my phone, It drains the battery so fast I can't even finish one game--Even a cheat-enabled game will drain the battery so fast, I don't even see the victory screen.

Excuses aside, I'm wondering if there's anyone, at all, who's willing to continue writing guides for Plague Inc.? Because I'm planning to start some new guides for a game I'm playing(It's an Idle game, because of the genre and nature of the game, I can play it while working).

Another Simian Flu Update

 As some you are wondering where our Simian Flu mega-brutal guide and walkthrough is, we are still working on it at the moment. We are making some good progress. That being said, we are still facing multiple problems at the moment that are causing major problems. The progress for the guide is slow and is going through a couple of major problems.

Strategy-testing for Necroa Virus Mega-Brutal

I've been playing the Necroa Virus on mega-brutal for the past weekend trying to find a strategy that could finish within 365 days. After so many failures, I think I've finally managed to inch closer and closer to 365 days. I've been doing this in preparation for Necroa Virus in the Unknown Origin scenarios.

The latest game I had, which was also the fastest, finished within 371 days. I think it could have been a lot faster if Z-Com didn't decide to make a base within the European cluster countries--it's so hard to move zombie hordes there.

If you guys are curios on how I did this or want to help me get that 365 day finish, here's some specifics on the current strategy I'm going with.

300,000 Page Views and Other News!

   Wow! First of all all site has hit 300,000 views! I am very excited about the news and how at the currently rate of growth is increasing. To give you a perspective of how large that is it is around the population of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently, are site views are growing by 5,000-8,000 views per day. At the rate we are at we will be growing by 1.825 million per year assuming growth remains constant. (5,000*365) So on to the other things and my thoughts below.

Plague Inc. New Plague Delayed

Ndemic Creations twitter page has recently delayed their announcement for their new plague type. It is unknown what has caused the change in the announcement but it might have to do about bugs and glitches in the plague type or lack of working graphics at the moment but at this point it is purely speculation.

New Plague Inc Plague Revealed?

A new trailer and the link suggests that the new plague that is coming to the game Plague Inc may be connected to the new movie Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. It may have to do something about the "Simian Flu" also known as ALZ-113 in the original movie of the new 2011 reboot called Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In case you did not watch the movie and want to watch it stop now as spoilers will be discussed in the article and the comment section.

Focus is Currently on...

My current guide focus right now is the much-requested Nipah Virus. Yes, I've already achieved those hard-to-earn 3 mega-brutal biohazards, but the thing is, I've only been able to do this twice. Pure luck, I guess.

My main problem with my current strategy is that it kills too slow. At the late stages of the game, I always find myself hoping for more DNA to evolve lethal symptoms. Similar to my other guides on scenarios like Nipah(e.g. Frozen Virus, Black Death, Swine Flu), the strategy is also heavily affected by mutations; I think mutations on this scenario have much more impact on its success.

I've taken quite a long break from this scenario, but now all my attention is focused towards making a guide for it. Expect a guide soon, no definite time frame, though. I'll release the guide as soon as I feel that the strategy has a fair enough rate of success.

Update on current smallpox strategy

The screenshot above shows the stats on my latest win on my current smallpox mega-brutal strategy. As you can see, I was pretty close to losing this one, the cure completion was 1% away from making this fail.

This current strategy is pretty dependent on luck on the mutation side. The primary reason why I'm holding off from posting it. If you guys have any tips, sharing them would be very much appreciated. 

By the way, this is only my 3rd win in a lot of games(I really can't remember how many I've played).
