I love video games, whether it be PC, Console, or mobile, I love them all--maybe except the really bad ones, but I still try them out anyway. Video games have always been a big part of my life; playing games has been my hobby, my stress-reliever, my escape from the real world at times, and I fail to see a point in my life where I would completely stop playing games.

Scenario Creator Coming To Plague Inc: Evolved

   The new scenario creator is coming to Plague Inc: Evolved. It is expected to be released in multiple weeks according to the Ndemic Creations twitter page. In it players will be allowed to create their own scenarios and share it with the public. It will only be coming to Plague Inc: Evolved and not coming to the IOS and the Android versions of the game.

The Upsides and The Downsides Of Plague Inc. Adding Ebola

There has been some talk of Plague Inc. and Plague Inc: Evolved adding the ebola virus for a new updates in scenarios. The following article will examine the upsides and the downsides of them adding it.

Welcome to the second edition of Think About It. In this issue, we'll be covering the Necora Virus. Without furthur adue, here is.. Think about It!

Intro!

If your reading this you probably are a well hardened Plague Inc. Player. We all know the post that alert that asks "What would happen in real life?" It turns out, all these viruses and events can happen, even the special ones such as the Necroa Virus. I'm here today to tell you about some Pandemic Outbreaks and diseases that happen in game, and in real life. This is... Think about it!

Necroa Virus and researching
To start off, we'll do the Necroa Virus. I looked up it, and I found a CDC blog dedicated to Zombie Preparedness. I looked deeper, and I found some stuff on these so  called "Zombies" In a Fictional medical journal presented in Night of the living dead, the author  [Harvard psychiatrist Steven Schlozman] wrote about Ataxic Neurodegenerative Satiety Deficiency Syndrome, caused by an infectious agent.
With this Fictional case, I decided to look at some News Articles. As I looked, I found about 20+ Articles, So I'll show you the most recent ones.

Cases
2002 A.D., St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands-
A Bloated, Waterlogged zombie washed up on the shores of the island. People kept their distance, and once the authorities came, they fired several shots at it. Not until a Young Boy grabbed the zombie, a Tourist grabbed an officer's gun and shot the zombie in the head, killing it.

2001 A.D., Sidi-Moussa, Morocco-
In a small Moroccan fishing town, a widespread "Hysteria" case affected 5 people, urging them to kill their relatives in order for human flesh. Those affected were bound with ropes and weights, and dumped into the sea. This is the proof from a small story on a French Newspaper article.

There are dozens of more recent stories, but I focused on zombiepedia.

Think About It: Simian Flu

Welcome to the first edition of Think about it! Today, we'll be talking about the Simian Flu.

Intro to Simian Flu (Game)
The simian Flu is a playable disease in Plauge Inc, which its first try is free, and if you want to keep on playing, it's USD $1.99. This disease was
part of a  sponsorship deal with Ndemic Creations, advertising the new movie, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. This disease, opens up whole new gameplay,
similar to the Necora Virus gameplay. With this, you can create colonies for DNA points, and rage battles with the humans. Enough with the Intro.

Intro to Simian Flu (Movie)
Now, the movie is about a virus that wiped out most of earth's population, and a small colony of apes, and a small group of survivors live on a dwindling peace.
They eventually went into an all out war, determining who will be the dominant species. (I think you know who the winner is).

Question
So, what happened if this were to happen in real life? I, have seen Planet of the Apes, but never saw this movie. I'm ashamed of that fact, but I will soon watch it.
I looked into the topic of apes getting increased intelligence, to speak english, teach their young, build homes, tame animals, and create colonies. As you probably
already know, apes are smart creatures. People like Jane Goodall and others, have found they create tools to get bugs and other food. (This could be the third upgrade
in the abilities tab where you can let the apes create weapons).

History
 Upon searching about the Simian Flu, I found a realistic 'Goverment/Office' Website. This showed the path
Of the 'Simian Flu' by 2020, just like in our game. The history of the Simian Flu Lore from the movie is as follows. ALZ-112 and ALZ-113 were supposed to be a virul cure drug
for Alzheimers disease created by Gen-Sys Labs. During the first trial the test ape, "Koba" gave "Robert Franklin" some of the virus. Robert Franklin later sneezed on a pilot
And began a full on pandemic outbreak.(You know the rest)

Are freemium systems unfair towards players?

I have kind of made my position clear on the issue. (Please Click Here To Read My Thoughts) I am wondering what you think about systems that reward people for buying virtual items in order to move up in the ranking systems and the like. (Such as Clash of Clans Virtual Gem System) In case you do not realize what freemium games are they are games in which the game is technically free but have in-app purchases that usually reward players for spending amounts of money. In some cases freemium systems are sometimes almost unnoticeable to players. In more and more cases it seems like it is almost required to buy a virtual item in order to get on the leaderboard or to progress even if the game itself is technically free on the App Store/Google Play store. Some players speculate that it could eventually or has ruined games While other players say that it allows people to play their games for free without paying a single cent and it is worth it if it is free. There is also talk that it helps the studios make more money.

   What is your thoughts on the issue? Should companies make freemium games or is it extremely unbalanced most of the time? Can the issue be compromised? Please feel free to add your comments in the comment section below to share your thoughts.
