Usually Environmental Hardening is not needed, but it can be a help if you've been unlucky.  Evolving it slows down the killing process, so I don't recommend it.

The cutoff for 5 biohazards is 350 days.  If you don't get it on the first try, keep at it.  You'll eventually get mutation help.
