News on Current Testing and Strategy Trials

blogger Hey there, Guys!

I've been playing Plague Inc. for the past few days trying to get a 5 Biohazard score on Fungus speed runs. After a lot of frustrating games, I am still unable to get the necessary days finished to get a 5 Biohazard score, my best at the moment is 210 days. I think I'm passing on this one for the time being and will be focusing on scenarios and mutation 10 mega-brutal guides instead.

In case you guys want to know, I've tried every possible strategy I could come up with while playing Fungus speed runs. I've tried evolving lethal symptoms early and just focusing on transmissions and resistances towards the end game, but the major problem in this is the watch list placement even, which makes some healthy countries close their borders, harbors, and airports sooner. I've also tried getting Zoonosis early and letting mutations help me on symptom-evolutions, but this strategy tends to be a little too long because you will be forced to evolve lethal symptoms near the end game.

I am quite unsure about this, but I think a 5 biohazard fungus speed run needs below 200 days to be achieved--which is absurd and impossible(for me, at least). Lethality needs to be present early if you want an early finish, but you need to be extremely careful with it. I've tried Necrosis and Total Organ Failure right after evolving every spore ability, it worked out well but still took quite some time to kill people. You will also be forced to focus on transmissions and resistances if you take this path, which will hold-up your lethality at the end.

As far as Resistances go, you will absolutely need Drug resistance 2 and a point in both cold and heat. Without these resistances, the infection will be slow. I always started and China, and without Heat Resistance, the African Continent countries seem to be taking too long to infect. Same goes for the Northern European countries and Greenland if I don't evolve Cold Resistance.

On the Transmissions side, I think the best combination is Bird 2 with Water 2. Bird requires a little DNA and will provide a much needed boost for land infection. Water 2 somehow helps with the infection of island countries, albeit a little. I don't think Extreme Zoonosis is a good idea, Yes mutations are good, but you are going to invest a lot of DNA into transmissions that are far more better used for symptoms.

Spore abilities are really random. In my opinion, the "Dream" start would be infecting every single island country after getting every spore abilitiy, but that rarely happens--never happens. I think these spores are what makes or breaks your game, being unable to infect even one island country will make you fail...hard.

I'll come back to this speed run some other time, I just don't think I can get much further than I have now. It's been 3 days since I was even able to get below 220 days. I'm frustrated and I've exhausted my brain of ideas. So, once again, if you guys have any ideas, tips, advice, secrets, or confidential information about this speed run and how to conquer it with 5 biohazards, please I'm begging you, share them with us.

Seriously, Fungus speed run is much worse than Black Death and Smallpox combined. If you guys are going to ask about Simian Flu, No luck there too.

Tips for Mutation 10, Speed Runs, and other Plague Inc. Stuff(Requests?)

blogger Hey there guys! and other people who've accidentally clicked on my blog.

I'm currently on Parasite Mega-brutal trials and Virus speed run tests(Current best score at 223). Anyway, I just wanted to know if you guys have any tips or have any requests on guides?

Also, If there's any info out there on Simian Flu speed runs, please tell me. That speed run game is getting really frustrating for me, I try to get something going once a day, but I end up just going for another game because of how hard it is.

The upcoming guides should be out in a few days, Again, currently focusing on Mutation 10 and Speed run guides. I'm sorry if they're slow, I'm one guy who has a job and a new-born daughter who always find the best time to wreak havoc--she's an angel, though, and I love her.

Anyway....Tips guys! Advice, basically anything that would help me be able to write guides faster. Submit guides you may have, post some comments on things you may have noticed. ANYTHING.

That about covers it. Hoping to hear from you guys!!

Back to Making Plague Inc. Guides!

blogger Hey guys!

I don't know how many of you actually keep coming to my site for guides, but I'm here to tell you that I will be continuing my Plague Inc guides. I am finally able to put some more time into guide making and because of mutation 10 and its progression tracker, I am once again all fired-up to complete everything!

Right now, I am at 75% completion and I'll make sure that I make every guide possible so you guys will get to 100% as well. It will be slow, but I'll get there--no, WE'LL get there.

So thanks to all you guys who continue to support Yo It's Spicy! Any tips and submitted guides are welcome.

I'll also be starting my very own YouTube Channel that will be filled with game content, so watch out for that. Just so you guys know, I'm very poor so the quality of the videos might not be so good.

Anyway, that's about it.

Happy Spicy Gaming everyone!

Spicy will be right back.

blogger Hey Guys!

I know some of you have been waiting for more Plague Inc. guides to be released, but are somehow let down by how extremely slow the guides have been. The reason behind the super-slow production of guides is because of the work schedule I'm faced with right now. To give you guys an idea of how tiring my past few weeks have been, I'm at the office from 8 a.m to 8 p.m every-single-day.

Although this site has been having a pretty decent number of views per day, the revenue it generates isn't even close to being able to pay my bills. That is why I have to focus on work more than making guides.

BUT! I still plan to complete my Plague Inc. guides down to the last scenario. I won't be faced with this completely unfair work schedule forever, though, maybe until October? Maybe. By then, I'd be able to use my free time to play more games and write more guides.

I'll try my very best to write up some guides(or articles) whenever I have free time. Submissions are still very much welcomed! Every submitted worked will be reviewed by me and will be posted as soon as possible. So keep your submissions coming!

That's all. Thanks to everyone who has been supporting my site/blog, Thanks to those who keep submitting amazing guides, and Thanks to my team, especially Jacob Cor who has been picking up the slack and has been posting different guides!

Guides Have been slow recently, We're trying our best!

blogger For the past week(days), I, spicy, was very busy on personal stuff(work, life, all that) that's why I haven't been able to write guides. The work schedule for the past week hasn't been kind to me, at all.

I think it's the same for the other guide-making authors as well.

Thanks to all those people who have submitted their own guides, and to the newest authors of our team who continue to provide content while I was busy.

Hopefully, I'd be back on continued guide making in the upcoming days. I'll first be focusing my attention to Simian Flu Mega-brutal then back to scenarios. People have been asking if Simian Flu in mega-brutal is possible, it is. I actually have been able to get 3 biohazards on Unknown Origin and Created Equal. I'll be releasing guides on it soon--I think I won on pure luck.

We still need more authors to add to our team, so if you're interested, apply to us now! Plague Inc. doesn't need to be your main guide-focus, we actually need more authors to write guides for other games.

Recruitment message aside,

Please continue to support our team by rating and giving feedback on already available guides. Also, if you have a guide you'd like to share, please submit them to us!

Please use our newly installed commenting application to further discuss a guide or problems you might have with it. We'll do our best to help you out, others might help you too.

As for news on what I'm focusing on, I'm still experimenting with my strategies on the Nipah Virus. I've been doing this for the past few days now and still find myself unable to replicate my victories. The guide on this scenario will be released soon(I hope). Meanwhile, check out other awesome guides made by our awesome team.
