In-Game Description: This is the heart of your village. Upgrading your Town Hall unlocks new defenses, buildings, traps, and much more. Destroying a opponent's Town Hall wins you the battle and gets you one Star. Destroying 50% of enemy buildings gains you a second Star, while 100% annihilations awards full free Stars. Beware, your enemies will be destroying your Town Hall too! For maximum protection, keep your Town Hall in the middle of your village and protect it with walls, traps and defensive buildings. Your enemies are sneaky and can attack from any side! (Note that the description is the same for all levels to my knowledge)

Cost: You will start out with the level 1 hall and the game and it therefore costs nothing.
Build Time: None again as you start with it in the game and therefore there is no build time.
Hitpoints: It contains 1,500 hitpoints.
Experience Gained: None (You start with a town hall level 1 building)
Maximum Buildings: 14 Buildings (Including 5 Builder Huts)
Possible Gold Storage(s): There is only one possible gold storage to be build for people with a town hall that is level 1 at the moment.
Possible Elixir Storage(s): There is only one possible elixir storage for a person that has a level 1 town hall at the moment.
Possible Gold Mine(s): There is only one possible gold mine for a person that has a level 1 town hall at the moment. Gold Mines should be heavily guided if possible.
Possible Elixir Collector(s): There is only one possible elixir collectors for a person that has a level 1 town hall at the moment. They are very important and should be guarded as highly as possible.
Possible Barrack(s): There is only one possible barrack for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment. They are mainly used at higher levels for raiding purposes.
Possible Dark Elixir Drill(s): There is no possible dark elixir drills for a person with a level 1 town hall currently. They are only found on the upper-most town hall levels.
Possible Dark Elixir Storage(s): There is no possible dark elixir storages for a person with a level 1 town hall currently. They are used for storing dark elixir which is even more valuable then regular elixir.
Possible Dark Barrack(s): There is no possible dark barracks for a person with a level 1 town hall currently. They are used to train high level troops with dark elixir.
Possible Laboratory/Laboratories: There is no possible laboratories for a person with a level 1 town hall. They are used for upgrading troops.
Possible Army Camp(s): There is one possible army camp for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment. They are used for storing troops.
Possible Spell Factory: There is no possible spell factory for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment. This are used for raiding purposes.
Possible Cannons: There are 2 possible cannons for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment and is the only defensive building a person can get at level 1 at the moment.
Possible Archer Towers: There are no possible archer towers for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment. They are used for defending your village.
Possible Walls: There are no possible walls to be built for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment. They are used in order to slow down the raid in order for your defensive units to pick off the raiders.
Possible Mortars: There are no possible mortars to be built for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment. Once you unlock them I highly recommend due to them being very effective against mass hordes of barbarians and archers.
Possible Bomb(s): There are no possible bombs to be built for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment. Once you unlock them I would highly recommend you to put it near your town hall.
Possible Air Defensive(s): There are no possible air defensive towers to be built for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment. Once you unlock them they are very effective for air units such as balloon.
Possible Spring Trap(s): There are no possible air defensive towers to be built for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment. Once you unlock them I would recommend you to place them.
Possible Wizard Tower(s): There are no possible wizard towers to be built for a person with a level 1 town hall at the moment. Once you unlock it I would recommend you to place one next to your mortars.

It is important strategy wise to note that a level 1 town hall person in Clash of Clans does not have to build a gold storage or elixir storage to collect up to a 1000 of both gold and elixir. It is also to note that I recommend to upgrade from this town hall as soon as possible to unlock town hall 2. Town halls are a good way to judge how powerful a person is in the game but it is a general guideline and not always true. It is important to note that town halls do not affect your matchmaking abilities and that trophies are what causes match-ups. The reason that people confuse this is due to the fact that they are usually related. I would also like to note before I move on to the next guide that you can only have 1 town hall not matter how high of a town hall level you get. I would also like to to note that the higher you upgrade your town hall your loot bonus will go down. Remember upgrade you town hall smartly.
