Plague Inc. Created Equal Scenario: Bacteria Mega-Brutal Guide(3 Biohazards)

The sole problem of the strategy I used for this plague, in the Created Equal scenario, is the infection of Greenland. It's almost always the final country to be infected and if it closes its borders early due to events, such as watch-list placement and threat level increase, the strategy fails to successfully finish.

Before we start with the strategy, there's a few things that I thought everyone should know while playing in this scenario.

  • Events such as Awareness Day, WHO watch-list placement, and WHO threat level increase will greatly affect your success rate. These events will boost the cure progression significantly, and also cause countries to close down their point-of-entries earlier.
  • Be prepared to change the strategy as you see fit. Each game will be different in more ways than one, and that may require you to evolve differently than what this guide says.
  • Finishing with 3 biohazards in mega-brutal difficulty requires you to finish within 380(or less) days, and have the cure progression below 65%. These figures are estimated.
Here are some screenshots of the final stats I had using this strategy.




 I was also able to successfully finish with 3 biohazards consecutively, on 3 games, by using this strategy.

So without further ado, let's start

Gene Setup:

  • ATP Boost - 8 DNA right off the bat, can't go wrong with this gene.
  • Aquacyte - Because Greenland.
  • Sympto-Stasis - Strategy heavily relies on symptoms for infection boost.
  • Genetic Mimic - To help slow down the progression of the cure.
  • Xerophile - A slight infection rate boost in our starting country.
This strategy has been tested multiple times on Plague Inc. for iOS. I can't be sure of its success on other platforms.

1.) Before selecting your starting country, evolve the following symptoms:
  • Nausea
  • Coughing
  • Cysts

2.) Start your plague in Saudi Arabia, then proceed to evolve the following in this order:
  • Abscesses
  • Sneezing
  • Rash
  • Sweating
  • Skin Lesions
  • Air 1 & 2
  • Water 1 & 2
  • Hyper Sensitivity
  • Pneumonia
These symptoms and transmissions will help spread the plague fast and help boost transmission through ships and planes.

3.) Continue by evolving the following:
  • Drug Resistance 1
  • Cold Resistance 1
  • Drug Resistance 2
  • Cold Resistance 2
  • Genetic Hardening 1 & 2
  • Necrosis
Resistances will boost infection in cold and rich countries, especially in the European Region. Necrosis will cause the significant increase in the cure progression, thus the early evolution of both Genetic Hardening abilities.

Immediately continue by evolving the following:
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhoea
  • Pulmonary Oedema
  • Pulmonary Fibrosis
  • Insomnia
  • Paranoia
  • Seizures
  • Insanity
  • Paralysis
  • Coma
  • Total Organ Failure
Note: It's perfectly fine to let mutations happen, but if they aren't listed yet immediately devolve them to get some much needed DNA.

4.) Because of Total Organ Failure, your plague will now start killing fast but will also negate the effects of Genetic Shifts--we don't want Re-Shuffles to costs insanely high. 

At this point, evolve all three Genetic Re-Shuffles. If Greenland isn't halfway infected at this point, wait a little while until it is. Then evolve these lethal symptoms:(Don't worry about not getting them all)
  • Hemorrhagic Shock
  • Internal Haemorrhaging
  • Tumours
  • Systemic Infection
All that's left now is to wait for the demise of the entire virtual human race.

    Guide works like a charm. Eager to see the Simian Flu guide on this one scenario. The two scenario that I am having most trouble with are Global Warming and Shut Down Everything, so if you can write anything about them it would be sweet

  2. With a bit of tweaking got 76000 319 days on android.
    What I did was leave out pneumonia, and evolved extreme Bioaerosol after genetic hardening 2 followed by all listed symptoms up to siezures before doing necrosis. Then all the lethals.
    I got the worry disease message and the cure went up rapidly but paralysis coma and one shuffle kept it at bay. Finished with 68% cure.
    Was only my third attempt so I'm sure it can be improved easily.

    About the Simian Flu on Scenarios, it's close to impossible on scenarios unless you have insane amounts of luck. I was able to win once in the Created Equal and Unknown Origin scenarios--and it was pure luck, the mutation of symptoms was in my favor for those two games. I'll try my best to get something going for the Simian Flu on different scenarios, but won't make any promises on guides getting released soon.

    Ndemic should change the manner the diseases score in Scenario (Neurax and Nano Virus are faster, Simian Flu and Necroa slower, Sovereign Default is easier than Golden Age, etc, etc)

  8. I totally agree. The scoring system for Necroa and Simian Flu should definitely be changed. Both of these special plagues use the drag-and-drop system which makes it harder to spread faster. Maybe I'll post something about this in Ndemic's forums.
