The new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer has been released that shows the new gameplay and well... It looks awesome.

The first look at gameplay of Batman: Arkham Knight has been released. There will be new things in the game such as fear takedowns, the batmobile, a expanded Gotham City that is 20 times the size of Batman: Arkham Asylum and more. It will also feature new generation graphics, the mysterious character called the Arkham Knight, the king of fear scarecrow, and more.

Batman: Arkham Knight was expected to be released on October 14, 2014 until it was delayed to some time in 2015. On the news of the delay Rocksteady's marketing game manager said the following.

“If we didn’t give the team more time to do it, then we would be releasing something that we weren’t happy with. We want to make sure we’re absolutely nailing it 100%,”

 -Guy Perkins

It is expected to be released somewhere in early 2015.  The reason as stated up above is to make sure the quality of the game is as high as possible according to Rocksteady.

The previous games have all been great games. Yes that also includes Batman: Arkham Origins even if the gameplay was similar to the previous games. I do agree that the changes that did made did not improve the game at all but I do agree that it started off with a pretty good baseline that saved it. Also the multiplayer was a dull shooter. The single player was still pretty decent in Batman: Arkham Origins. The other two games should be considered undisputed masterpieces of the genre. So I am coming into this game with very high hopes indeed.

Overall, I am excited for the news as the Batman: Arkham series have been one of my favorite video game series and turned Batman: Arkham into arguably one of the greatest series of all time. I am currently curious about the new character called the Arkham Knight.

Another things that I would like to thank Rocksteady for is its excellent redesign of the character scarecrow in the game and how they have made good use of the next generation platforms.
