'I Didn't Ask for This' Achievement Guide
I modified the guide from the wikia as their version seemed incomplete (they say people start dying but you have no lethality). Don't plan of completing the game with this guide, this is just for the achievement.
Bacteria, Casual
Genes - I used 'ATP boost' for a good start and you will want 'Sympto-Stasis' for the sake of consistency, other genes are up to you but I used 'Aquacyte', 'Genetic Mimic' and 'Extremeophile'.
Start in Saudi Arabia, it has a good population and transport links.
Devolve any symptoms except those stated and when they are needed (plus devolving gives extra DNA), devolve before closing the pop ups.
Evolve in order - Air 1, Water 1, Water 2, Air 2, Drug 1/2, Bacterial Resiliance 1/2/3.
Wait until the world is infected and you have 120 DNA. You can also devolve transmissions for extra DNA as you no longer need them once everyone is infected.
Evolve - Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Pulmonary Oedema, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Pneumonia, Coughing, Sneezing, Rash, Sweating, Skin Lesions, Fever, Immune Suppression, Insomnia, Paranoia, Inflammation, Seizures, Cysts, Hyper sensitivity, Abscesses, Anaemia, Haemophilia, Tumours, (Internal Haemorrhaging, this is optional and may need devolving if people die too fast) - this should all cost 120 DNA if you used the Sympto-stasis gene.
Wait for the pop ups (Artificial Organs save lives and Artificial Organs cause haemorrhoids) and the achievement should be awarded on the second - the haemorrhoids pop up can take some time so reshuffle as necessary and continue devolving other symptoms, for me the cure was at 86% when the achievement was awarded and I was only able to get genetic reshuffle 1.
I got the achievement on the first try with this and didn't bother to finish the game as there was no chance to win, I hope it helps.
